Disappointing Debating Loss
Yesterday the Belmore South P.S debating team travelled to Campsie P.S for our third debate of the year. The topic for the debate was “society should listen more to children” and we were the negative which means we were saying that society should not listen more to children.
The first speaker for us was Clement. Our second speaker was Natalie and our third speaker was Martin. Our team advisor was Gloria.
Everyone thoght we should have won, Martin thought that the adjudicator had a grudge against us! (I think he thought this because the adjudicator has adjudicated 2 of our debates and we lost both).
Even though we lost everyone is thinking positive and we are looking forward to our next debate which is against Strathfield South which will be held at our school.
