ANZAC Day

For some of you people that don’t know what ANZAC Day is, it is a day where people commemorate the lives lost from the Australian and New Zealand army that fought for freedom for their country from 1914-1918. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Here at my school we had a special meeting in the school hall to remember these brave people. We also had a minute silence, to remember the people who died in this terrible war. Services were held all around the country at numerous War Memorials.
